01Can I use this with a TRS cable?
Not properly. It's wired mono, so a TRS plug's ring contact gets tied to sleeve. Stereo or balanced signals will not pass through correctly.
02Will this work for headphones?
Only for 1/4" headphone plugs carrying a mono signal. Stereo headphones will lose one channel or sum incorrectly through a mono adapter.
03Does it degrade my tone?
Each connection adds a small amount of resistance and one more spot for crackle. On a short run you won't hear it. On long runs, use a single cable.
04Can I connect a speaker cable with this?
It will physically fit, but a small barrel adapter is not built for amp-to-cab power levels. Use a proper speaker cable of the right length instead.
