02Can I use it to split a signal to two amps?
No. Both ends are female and it carries one signal path. You need a Y splitter for that.
03Does it work for headphone extensions?
Yes, that's a common use. Stereo wiring keeps left and right separate when joining two 1/4" headphone cables.
04Will it fit a 3.5mm plug?
No. This is full-size 1/4" on both ends. A 3.5mm plug needs a separate step-down adapter.
