sE ElectronicsV8 Dynamic Vocal Microphone - Black

An excellent live vocal mic should let the singer push harder, move naturally and stay present in the mix without fighting the stage around them. The sE Electronics V8 dynamic vocal microphone builds on the proven V7 platform with a newly developed DMCV8 capsule engineered for greater clarity, natural detail and vocal presence. Its extended low end, balanced midrange and detailed highs create an open, polished response designed to sound refined before additional EQ, while a tightly focused supercardioid pattern provides strong off-axis rejection and excellent gain-before-feedback. Whether handling lead vocals on a crowded club stage or a demanding touring production, the V8 combines focused pickup, rugged construction and a new integrated shockmount in a handheld microphone built for professional performance. DMCV8 Capsule Delivers Open, Detailed Vocal Sound The premium DMCV8 dynamic capsule advances the sonic foundation of the V7 with a response designed to preserve vocal detail across the spectrum. Extended lows add body, controlled mids keep the voice balanced, and articulate high frequencies bring out definition without requiring extensive corrective processing. The supercardioid pickup pattern concentrates sensitivity toward the vocalist while reducing unwanted sound from surrounding instruments and monitors, helping the performance remain clear in dense stage environments and providing the gain-before-feedback needed for louder live setups. Integrated Shockmount Controls Handling Noise A newly patented internal shockmount isolates the capsule from mechanical vibration and helps reduce handling noise as the microphone moves with the performer. The system also provides additional protection for the capsule against physical impact during regular stage use. A rugged all-metal housing and spring-steel mesh grille add resistance to dents and corrosion, while a beveled edge helps keep the mic from rolling when placed on a flat surface. A gold-plated XLR connector provides a corrosion-resistant connection designed to maintain reliable signal integrity through repeated performances and touring use. Tour-Ready Construction With Two Distinctive Finishes Measuring 2.1" x 7.4" and weighing 12 oz., the V8 maintains a familiar handheld form factor for comfortable stage use. The Graphite Gray version provides a refined modern finish designed to resist fingerprints, while the Matte Black option offers a discreet appearance that keeps visual attention on the performer. Each sE Electronics V8 includes a microphone clip with thread adapter, black internal windscreen, soft case, leatherette pouch and microfiber polishing cloth, providing the essential accessories for performance, transport and everyday care.
