YamahaRestock Yamaha HS8 W 8" Powered Studio Monitor (Each) - White

Yamaha's HS8 powered studio monitors represent the pinnacle of the brand's nearfield monitor legacy. The HS8 combines cutting-edge components with Yamaha's signature sound to provide an uncolored sonic reference for any studio. Featuring an 8" cone woofer and 1" dome tweeter in an advanced bi-amplified configuration, the HS8 renders audio with stunning resolution across the frequency spectrum. Legendary White Woofer Reproduces Pristine Low End The HS8's iconic white woofer has become an industry standard, trusted by audio professionals worldwide for its accurate bass response. Yamaha's speaker engineering team optimized the woofer's large magnet and suspension to minimize distortion and resonance, resulting in tight, controlled low end. 1" Dome Tweeter Reveals Microscopic Details The HS8's 1" dome tweeter features a smooth contour design that reduces high-frequency losses, allowing it to reproduce the subtlest sonic nuances with surgical precision. The tweeter's sturdy frame also prevents unwanted resonance from muddying the high end. Combined, these design elements result in stunning high-frequency clarity and detail retrieval. Bi-amplified Power Provides Optimal Headroom The HS8 utilizes bi-amplification to separately power its woofer and tweeter, eliminating interaction between the drivers. This configuration also allows each amplifier to be tailored to its driver's specific needs, enabling both units to perform at their best. The end result is an expansive dynamic range, minimal distortion, and a soundstage with pinpoint imaging. Room Control Switch Compensates for Placement Yamaha included a room control switch on the HS8 to account for bass buildup caused by close-wall placement. Engaging this switch restores accurate low-end response, ensuring you hear the true sound of your mix no matter where the monitors are positioned. Additional switches are provided for midrange and high-frequency adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune the HS8's response to best suit your monitoring needs.
