YamahaHS8 SG 8" Powered Studio Monitor (Each) - Slate Grey

Yamaha's HS Series studio monitors are renowned for their unparalleled audio precision and detail. The HS8 SG 8" powered studio monitor delivers Yamaha's signature sound with enhanced low-end response, making it ideal for musicians, producers and audio engineers who demand uncompromising accuracy. The HS8 SG is a premium studio monitor equipped with cutting-edge components to provide an ultrawide frequency range and stunning stereo imaging. Yamaha's Innovative 1" Silk-Dome Tweeter At the heart of the HS8 SG is Yamaha's signature 1" silk-dome tweeter. The dome's light, rigid silk material and specially designed waveguide offer increased high-frequency dispersion and wider directivity for enhanced detail and stereo imaging. The result is an expansive soundstage with pinpoint imaging that reveals every nuance of your mix. 8" Composite Woofer Provides Tight, Impactful Low End The HS8 SG's 8" woofer features a rigid composite cone material to deliver tight, highly controlled low-frequency response down to 38Hz. Its oversized magnet and 1.5" voice coil generate powerful, impactful bass that provides a solid foundation for your mix. The woofer's non-parallel side walls minimize internal standing waves for optimal clarity. Bi-amped Design and Advanced DSP for Total Control The HS8 SG utilizes a bi-amped 80W + 20W power amplifier and advanced DSP to provide independent control over the woofer and tweeter. The woofer amplifier focuses on tight, powerful low end, while the tweeter amplifier offers ample power and headroom for crystal-clear highs. Onboard DSP provides EQ, delay and crossover functions for precision tuning of the woofer and tweeter, allowing you to customize the monitor's response to match your room's acoustics. Rugged Cabinetry and Versatile Connectivity The HS8 SG's rugged MDF cabinet has non-parallel sides to prevent internal reflections and standing waves. Multiple input options include balanced XLR and TRS phone connectors for connecting pro audio equipment. There are also high-quality binding posts for bare wire connections.
