Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
HS8 is an active two-way nearfield monitor built around an 8-inch low-frequency driver and 1-inch high-frequency driver. With 120W output power, XLR and TRS inputs, and a ported enclosure, it is set up as a self-powered monitoring speaker rather than a passive cabinet. Acoustic Space Control, midrange EQ, and high-frequency trim offer response adjustments for the room and placement, keeping those choices accessible during mix work.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Nearfield mix monitoring where room and placement adjustments need to be made at the speaker.
