01Will this fit my marching tenors?
Only if they use Remo's Crimplock hoop system. The head comes pre-mounted in that hoop, so other marching mounting systems will not accept it.
02Can I use it on a regular tom?
No. Kit and concert toms take a standard flesh-hoop head that seats under the drum's own rim. The Crimplock hoop won't work there.
03Clear or coated for tenors?
Clear gives brighter attack and more articulation, which carries better outdoors. Coated is warmer and softer — usually the wrong direction for a marching line.
04Do I need to replace all the tenor heads together?
Not required, but matched heads across the set keep tone and response consistent. A single fresh head can stand out against worn ones.
