01Will this fit my regular 8-inch drum?
No. Crimplock heads require a Crimplock hoop found on marching tenors. A standard drum needs a standard-collar head.
02What is the difference between Pinstripe and a single-ply head?
Pinstripe uses two plies with damping between them, so it rings less, hits with more body, and lasts longer under heavy playing.
03Does the black film change the sound?
Slightly. Black film is a touch warmer and darker than clear. The two-ply construction is the bigger factor.
04How many do I need for a tenor set?
One per drum. An 8-inch head covers only the 8-inch drum; order the other sizes separately.
