No. Crimplock heads mount with a locking collar used on marching drums. A standard kit tom needs a conventional hoop head.
02What is the difference between Pinstripe and Emperor?
Both are two-ply. Pinstripe adds damping between the plies at the edge, so it rings less and sounds more focused and dry.
03Does black film change the sound?
Slightly. Opaque film is a touch warmer and less bright than clear, though the two-ply construction shapes the tone far more.
04Is this for the top or bottom of the tenor?
