Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
ES-335 50s returns to the earlier dot-neck approach with a Vintage Natural finish, Rounded C mahogany neck, and acrylic dot inlays. Its semi-hollow maple/poplar/maple body uses a solid maple center block to combine hollow-wing openness with sustain and feedback control at higher volumes. A calibrated pair of Alnico 3 Custombuckers supplies the warm, harmonically rich PAF-style response described for the model. Handwired controls, an ABR-1 bridge, aluminum stopbar, and Vintage Deluxe tuners keep the hardware and control package aligned with its late-1950s direction.
