The mahogany body uses Gibson’s Ultra Modern weight-relief design.

Independent shopping perspective
Gibson’s Les Paul Studio Faded is a right-handed, six-string solidbody with a weight-relieved mahogany body, maple top, and satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. A SlimTaper mahogany set neck meets a bound Indian rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. Two Burstbucker Pro humbuckers run through individual push/pull coil-tap volume controls and two tone controls, allowing humbucker operation or brighter single-coil-style textures. The aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stopbar, Graph Tech nut, Vintage Deluxe tuners, and included soft case round out the package.
