Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Player II Jaguar brings a 24-inch-scale, offset Fender design to a direct single-coil layout. Its Alnico II neck pickup and Alnico V bridge pickup are selected with a 3-way blade switch, giving access to the warmer neck voice, brighter bridge voice, or both together. The alder solidbody, rosewood fingerboard, and satin-finished maple Modern C neck form the core build. Use the vintage-style floating tremolo and push-in arm when a part calls for vibrato, without adding extra switching complexity to the control layout.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Moving between neck, bridge, and combined single-coil sounds during a set using a 3-way blade switch.
- Writing riffs or melodic parts on a 24-inch-scale offset electric guitar.
- Adding vibrato effects to chords and leads with the vintage-style floating tremolo.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players specifically seeking a 25.5-inch-scale guitar; this Jaguar has a 24-inch scale length.
