Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Finished in Birch Green, this Player II Jaguar combines Fender’s offset solidbody format with a 24-inch scale and two distinct Jaguar single-coils. The Alnico II neck pickup is described as warm and rounded; the Alnico V bridge pickup brings the brighter, more articulate side. A 3-way blade switch keeps those choices immediate, including the combined position. The vintage-style floating tremolo provides pitch variation for lead and chord work, while the maple Modern C neck and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard complete the player-focused layout.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Switching quickly between warm neck, articulate bridge, and combined pickup sounds in performance.
- Using tremolo-based vibrato to add motion to chord parts or lead phrases.
- Players drawn to the feel of a 24-inch-scale offset Jaguar.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players who need a fixed bridge; the instrument is fitted with a vintage-style floating tremolo.
