Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Player II Jaguar combines an alder offset solidbody with a 24-inch scale, 22 frets and a slab rosewood fingerboard. Its passive Player Series Jaguar pickups pair Alnico II at the neck with Alnico V at the bridge; a three-way blade gives neck, bridge or both. Master volume and tone put essential adjustments in one place. A satin Modern C maple neck, 9.5-inch radius and vintage-style floating tremolo with a push-in arm complete this right-handed Jaguar in Aquatone Blue.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Changing between neck, bridge and combined pickup voices from the three-way blade control.
- Adding expressive vibrato motion to chord or lead passages with the floating tremolo.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; this model is listed with right-handed orientation.
