Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Player II Telecaster HH takes the Tele format in a dual-humbucker direction, using Player Series Alnico II humbuckers at both neck and bridge. A three-way blade switch and master volume/master tone controls keep pickup changes and shaping uncomplicated. The alder body is paired with a Modern C maple neck, rolled-edge slab rosewood fingerboard, 9.5-inch radius, and 22 medium-jumbo frets. Instead of a tremolo, it uses a fixed six-saddle string-through-body Strat hardtail bridge with bent steel saddles.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Rehearsals and live sets that move between warm chord sounds, higher-output riffs, and sustained lead parts.
- Players who want Telecaster body styling with two humbuckers and a fixed hardtail bridge.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players who need a tremolo bridge; this model has a fixed string-through-body hardtail.
- Players who need a case or gig bag included with the guitar; it is sold separately.
