Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Rallye Orange Player II Stratocaster keeps a three-single-coil layout, using Player Series Alnico V Strat pickups at neck, middle and bridge. Its five-way blade switch accesses the full range of pickup positions, while dedicated tone controls divide the neck/middle pair from the bridge pickup. The maple fingerboard is paired with a maple Modern C neck, rolled edges, a 9.5-inch radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets; the source attributes brightness, snap and defined attack to that fingerboard. An alder double-cut body and two-point synchronized tremolo complete the familiar Stratocaster format.
