Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The black Player II Stratocaster pairs a solid alder body with a Modern C maple neck and maple fingerboard in a familiar SSS format. Three Player Series Alnico V single-coils deliver sparkling highs, musical mids and articulate lows; the five-way blade, master volume and two tone controls make those pickup sections easy to balance. Rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5-inch radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets support rhythm work and bends. The two-point synchronized tremolo with bent-steel saddles adds responsive pitch effects.
