01Do I need an audio interface with a lot of inputs?
Yes. A multi-mic drum pack only pays off if you can record each mic to its own channel. Small two-input interfaces will leave most of the pack unused.
02Is this for live or studio use?
Both. The same close-mic setup works on stage into a console and in a studio into a multitrack interface.
03Can I buy just the kick mic instead?
Audix sells kick mics individually, including the D6. Buy the pack when you want the whole kit covered at once.
04Will I need extra stands?
