01Will the 47 fit a large bore trombone?
No. Large bore tenors take a large shank. This is a small-shank mouthpiece and won't seat correctly in that receiver.
02Is the 47 good for beginners?
It works for students and professionals alike. Absolute beginners often start on the 45 or 46, which are slightly smaller and easier to control at first.
0347 or 47B for jazz playing?
The 47B uses a contour profile and a C throat for quicker response and a more resonant high register. The 47 is the more general-purpose choice.
04Can I use the 47 on euphonium?
It's a trombone size. For euphonium, the deeper 51D and 52D are the ones cut for that horn, with the 46D suiting younger players.
