02Will this work with Speakon jacks?
No. Banana plugs fit binding posts. Speakon is a separate twist-lock format and needs a Speakon connector.
03How do I know which side is positive?
Both pins are black, so there is no visual marking. Note or label which terminal you wired positive when you assemble it.
04Can I use it for guitar or mic cable?
No. Bananas carry speaker-level output from a power amp. Instrument and mic signals use 1/4" or XLR.
