Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a dreadnought body, the D-28 Standard Satin pairs a spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides for a full voice with strong projection, deep bass, and detailed overtones. Forward-shifted X-bracing is part of its open, ringing response across the registers. The satin finish keeps the presentation understated, while the GE modified low oval neck and high-performance taper give the player a defined neck profile and 1-3/4-inch nut width. A molded hardshell case accompanies the guitar.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Stage or studio acoustic parts that need dreadnought projection with balanced highs, mids, and lows.
- Players moving between strumming and articulated acoustic passages on a right-handed six-string.
