Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The natural-finish D-28 Standard pairs a spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides in a right-handed dreadnought format. Forward-shifted GE-scalloped X-bracing is described as supporting articulate bass, sparkling treble, and sustain, while the body is built for a powerful, resonant response. A GE Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper, beveled fingerboard edge, and 20 Plek'd frets focuses the playing experience on comfortable fretting and an even surface for chords or lead work.
