No. A passive cabinet needs a power amplifier between the mixer and the speaker. A mixer's line output alone won't drive it.
02How much amplifier power should I use?

03Can I use it as a floor monitor?
It's a full-range 2-way cabinet, so it works for monitor duty, but it's a standard cabinet shape rather than a wedge.
