Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
For a vocal mic or presentation channel, the Novacore NCHEC brings a complete single-channel digital wireless path: NCR1 receiver, NCHH handheld transmitter, and NCEC capsule. Its extended-cardioid capsule is built to keep surrounding stage sound out of the vocal pickup while internal damping reduces handling noise. The receiver provides real-time RF and audio metering, while AES-256 encryption, IR sync, and a 48 MHz tuning range support coordinated work in demanding live environments.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Live vocal channels where off-axis rejection helps manage surrounding stage sound.
- Speech and presentation work requiring a handheld transmitter and real-time receiver metering.
- Production setups needing remote receiver monitoring through the Novacore Frequency Coordinator app.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Users needing multiple wireless channels from a single NCR1 receiver.
- Buyers expecting a rechargeable 18500 lithium-ion battery in the package.
