Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a solid alder body and a maple bolt-on neck, the BB234 is a four-string passive bass with a 34-inch scale, 22 medium frets, and a rosewood fingerboard. Its dual Yamaha V3 pickups, three-way selector, two volume controls, and master tone let you work between the two pickups as a song requires. Rounded body edges with arm and belly cuts, plus the slim neck described for the model, make it a practical instrument for sustained playing. Finished in black with a white pickguard.
