Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The BB434M is a passive, four-string solidbody bass with an alder body and maple fingerboard. Its split single-coil neck pickup and single-coil bridge pickup each have their own volume control, with a master tone control for final adjustment. Yamaha pairs the 34-inch scale and 21 medium frets with a six-bolt neck joint designed for stability. The custom-wound pickups are intended to add output gain while retaining the BB voicing, and the adjustable four-saddle bridge gives each string its own setup point.
