SpectorIcon NS-2 Bolt-On Electric Bass Guitar - White Gloss

For nearly five decades, Spector has defined what a modern bass should be—powerful, ergonomic and endlessly inspiring. The Spector Icon NS-2 Bolt-On electric bass guitar carries that heritage forward, offering players a professional-grade instrument that delivers unmatched playability and timeless tone. Designed by the Spector Custom Shop, this model combines elevated aesthetics with player-focused upgrades, from its contoured alder body to its three-piece maple neck and custom-voiced Aguilar DCB pickups. From the stage to the studio, this refined evolution of the NS bass embodies the bold character and enduring legacy that have made Spector one of the most respected names in bass since 1976. Contoured Alder Body for Balanced Tone and Enhanced Playability At the heart of the NS-2 Bolt-On lies a sleekly sculpted alder body—a hallmark of Spector’s design legacy. Alder is prized for its balanced response, offering punchy lows, smooth mids and a focused top end that cuts through any mix. Players who opt for the Black Cherry or Black Stain finishes will also enjoy a stunning quilted maple top, adding extra brightness and visual flair. The contoured body not only offers striking looks but also enhances player comfort, hugging close to the body for long sessions without fatigue. It’s a design that feels as good as it sounds, built for working bassists who demand reliability night after night. Three-Piece Rock Maple Neck for Exceptional Stability and Snappy Attack The three-piece rock maple neck offers an ultrasolid, stable feel, while the bolt-on construction contributes to a snappy, articulate attack, giving each note crisp definition. Its slim profile, paired with a 15.75" fingerboard radius, allows for fast, effortless movement across the scale—ideal for fluid runs and intricate techniques. The rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and depth, complementing the maple’s clarity for a full, well-rounded sound. Standard jumbo frets offer effortless fretting and long-lasting durability, while Spector’s signature crown inlays lend a touch of classic style. A brass nut ensures excellent sustain and tuning stability, further rounding out a neck that’s as playable as it is dependable. Custom Aguilar Electronics for Modern Versatility Outfitted with custom-voiced Aguilar DCB pickups, the NS-2 Bolt-On captures every nuance of your playing with exceptional detail. The reverse P/J configuration delivers a powerful low-end punch with articulate midrange growl, offering tonal versatility that adapts to any genre. Driving it all is the Aguilar OBP-2 preamp, providing active two-band EQ with cut and boost controls for bass and treble. From warm, vintage thump to modern slap tones and aggressive rock grind, the NS-2 Bolt-On adapts seamlessly to your playing style, ensuring your sound always commands attention. Elegant Gold Hardware With Pro-Grade Performance Every detail of the NS-2 Bolt-On is designed with working musicians in mind, and the hardware is no exception. Its fully intonating locking bridge maximizes sustain while offering precise setup adjustments, so you can dial in your perfect action and intonation. High-precision sealed die-cast tuners keep your tuning rock solid under the heaviest playing. The hardware is finished in elegant gold, complementing the bass’s sleek finish while reinforcing its premium aesthetic. It’s a combination of timeless beauty and unwavering reliability—hardware that enhances the instrument’s look while ensuring it performs flawlessly in any setting.
