Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Paul’s Guitar Mango Limited Edition combines a figured mango top and ziricote fingerboard with a mahogany body and neck. Its Pattern-profile neck carries 22 PRS Vintage frets over a 25-inch scale. The TCI B neck pickup and TCI T bridge pickup provide the fuller humbucking foundation, while the two mini-toggle EQ switches add clearer, leaner sounds through tuned high-pass filtering. A 3-way selector, volume and tone controls, bone nut, PRS stoptail bridge with brass inserts, and Phase III non-locking tuners complete the direct, player-focused design.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Playing chord parts that need clear ringing notes and single-note lines that remain articulate.
- Moving between fuller humbucking tones and clearer, leaner voices with the two mini-toggle EQ switches.
- Using a 22-fret, 25-inch-scale guitar with a Pattern neck carve and stoptail bridge.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; this is a right-handed instrument.
