Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Martin’s D-18 Modern Deluxe is a right-handed, six-string dreadnought that combines a spruce VTS top and mahogany body with a dovetail neck joint and natural protein glue construction. Its carbon-fiber bridgeplate is designed to raise volume without adding weight, while the Vintage Deluxe High Performance Taper neck is shaped for hand comfort along the fingerboard. Gold open-gear tuners, gold frets, and rosewood binding give the natural-finish guitar a distinctly appointed look. A hardshell case comes with it.

Consider the trade-offs
