The Korena take
The 000-18 Modern Deluxe is a natural-finish 000-14 Fret acoustic built with a VTS spruce top, scalloped X bracing, and mahogany back and sides. Martin describes its voice as balanced for strumming, with clear note separation for soloing; the mahogany body is said to emphasize the midrange. An asymmetrical neck profile and High Performance Taper ebony fingerboard support first-position fingerpicking and quick upper-fret single-note work. Carbon fiber at the bridge plate and Liquidmetal bridge pins add contemporary construction details, with rosewood binding, gold hardware, pearl logo, and a hardshell case rounding out the instrument.
