The neck profile and bracing are specified as 1931-style appointments.

Independent shopping perspective
Made as a limited-edition tribute to Major Kealakai, this right-handed Martin Custom Shop acoustic follows a 12-fret Authentic 1931 format. The guitar pairs a vintage-gloss Adirondack spruce top with vintage-gloss sinker mahogany back and sides, framed in Madagascar rosewood binding. Period-focused details continue through the dovetail neck joint, hide-glue construction, 1931 neck profile and X bracing, plus a slotted headstock carrying relic nickel side-mount tuners. An ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge and hardshell case complete the instrument.
