Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Martin's Custom Shop 00 14-Fret pairs a premium Sitka spruce top with premium wild grain East Indian rosewood back and sides in a compact Grand Concert body. The all-solid-wood build is voiced for articulate highs, punchy mids, and a controlled low end, while scalloped spruce X-bracing is designed to let the top respond freely. Its modified low oval neck, ebony fingerboard, and 14-fret neck joint make this a focused acoustic for fingerstyle work or lighter strumming.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Fingerstyle passages that benefit from the guitar's balanced midrange and controlled low end.
- Light strumming on a comfortable 00 14-fret Grand Concert body.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players who need onboard electronics; none are fitted.
