Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Ambertone Custom Shop 41 Style is a Grand Performance acoustic-electric built with an Adirondack spruce top, ziricote back and sides, and forward-shifted X-bracing. Its acoustic character is described as bold and responsive, with clear low end, focused highs, and projection balanced for studio or live use. L.R. Baggs Anthem electronics provide microphone-and-piezo capture plus discreet onboard volume and tone controls. A modified low oval mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, bone nut and saddle, and 25.4-inch scale round out the playing platform.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Live sets that require an amplified acoustic signal with onboard volume and tone adjustment.

- Players who need a hardshell case for taking the instrument to performances or sessions.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
