Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Choose this 4-strength European Cut Signature reed for a Bb clarinet with a French mouthpiece. The design uses a vamp that is both shorter and wider, giving the embouchure a comfortable contact point. Material added along the spine supplies rigidity while keeping the response free-blowing, and supports stability in the upper register. It is not a universal mouthpiece option; most German mouthpieces will not accept this cut.
