Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The 3.25-strength European Cut Signature reed is made for Bb clarinet players using French mouthpieces. A shorter, wider vamp is intended to sit comfortably in the embouchure, while the added spine material brings rigidity to the design. That reinforcement is paired with a free-blowing feel and stability when playing high-register material. Its mouthpiece fit is specific: most German mouthpieces are not compatible with this reed.
