JacksonJS Series Spectra Bass JS2 Electric Bass Guitar - Satin Black
1/8
Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Finished in satin black, the JS Series Spectra Bass JS2 brings a poplar offset Spectra body together with a maple bolt-on neck and 24-fret laurel fingerboard. Its P-style neck and J-style bridge pickups work through a blend control, with an active bass boost available when needed. The push/pull volume control takes the bass out of active mode for passive operation. A Jackson hardtail bridge and sealed die-cast tuners make this a practical four-string for rehearsals, sessions, and stage sets.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Rehearsals and live sets where the offset body’s balance and contours support extended playing.
- Moving between pickup blends, active bass boost, and passive operation from the bass controls.
- Four-string parts that use the upper reach of a 24-fret fingerboard.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; this is a right-handed bass.
