Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Finished in Sunshine Yellow, the Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS combines a Player II Modified bridge humbucker with Player II Noiseless Strat pickups at the neck and middle. The five-way blade switch and push/pull coil-split on the bridge tone control provide multiple pickup routes from one control layout. Its satin urethane maple Modern C neck, rolled-edge rosewood fingerboard, and 22 medium-jumbo frets form the playing surface. For vibrato use, Fender specifies a two-point synchronized tremolo, TUSQ nut, and short-post locking tuners.
