Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around three Player Series Alnico V single-coils, the Player II Stratocaster provides five pickup selections, from the warmer neck position to the more focused bridge voice, plus the two combined settings between them. An alder body and contoured double-cut shape retain the familiar Strat layout, while the two-point synchronized tremolo adds pitch control. The maple Modern C neck pairs rolled rosewood-board edges with 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch radius for a smooth playing surface. This version comes in 3-Color Sunburst and is right handed.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Rehearsal, recording, or live setups that call for quick changes among five single-coil pickup selections.
- Players using subtle tremolo shimmer or more expressive pitch effects from a two-point synchronized tremolo.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; this is a right-handed guitar.
- Buyers who require a case or gig bag as part of the purchase.
