Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Sunshine Yellow Player II Modified Telecaster is a fixed-bridge electric guitar with a lightweight alder body, maple fingerboard, and two Player II Noiseless Tele pickups. Select pickups with the three-position blade switch, or pull up the tone control to add series wiring when a fuller, warmer setting is needed. The Modern C maple neck uses a satin urethane finish and rolled fingerboard edges, with 22 medium-jumbo frets on a 9.5-inch radius. Locking short-post tuners, a TUSQ nut, and the six-saddle bridge support stable tuning and intonation.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Players using a Tele-style two-pickup layout who also want series wiring available from the tone control.
- Rehearsal, studio, or stage parts that call for noiseless Tele pickup operation.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players who require a bridge other than the fixed six-saddle string-through-body design.
