YamahaTRBX605FM 5-String Electric Bass Guitar - Dark Red Burst
1/8
Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built for a player who wants five strings and a broad control layout, the Yamaha TRBX605FM pairs an alder solidbody with a flamed maple top in Dark Red Burst. Its 34-inch-scale, bolt-on mahogany-and-maple neck carries a rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium frets. Two double-coil Alnico V pickups feed volume, blend, high, mid, and low controls, plus an active/passive mini toggle, so bass parts can be adjusted from the instrument during rehearsal or onstage changes.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Five-string bass parts that use the full 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
- Players adjusting level, pickup blend, and high/mid/low controls directly from the bass.
- Rehearsal or stage setups where an active/passive mini toggle is part of the preferred control workflow.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players who need a left-handed instrument.
- Buyers expecting a case or gig bag with the bass.
