01Will these fit my clarinet?
No. Soprano saxophone reeds are wider and shaped differently than clarinet reeds, even though the horns are similar in size. They will not seal properly.
02Is strength 2 too soft for me?
If you are in your first months of playing, no. If you already play 2.5 comfortably, these will feel loose and may squeak in the upper register.
03How long does one reed last?
With rotation and drying between sessions, several weeks of regular practice. Playing one reed exclusively wears it out much faster.
04Do I need to break these in?
Yes. Play each new reed briefly for a few days before relying on it. Cane needs to settle before it plays consistently.
