Check the label inside the f-hole, or measure the body from the top edge to the bottom edge. A 1/2 violin body is roughly 12.5 inches.
02Ball end or loop end — which do I need?
This set is ball end. Ball ends work with most fine tuners and standard tailpieces. Only some E-string fine tuners require a loop end.
03Why does the E cost more when wound?
A wound E is a different build than a plain steel wire. It trades some brightness for a rounder tone and less whistling.
