Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built for Detroit Tigers fans who also want a playable compact acoustic, this blue Taylor GS Mini carries an officially licensed team graphic. The right-handed, six-string design uses a 23.5-inch scale that is described as making chord shapes easier, with snap and tuning stability retained. Its Grand Symphony Mini body suits the portable settings named for it, from a couch to a tailgate or casual gathering. A solid torrefied Sitka spruce top, layered sapele back and sides, and included Taylor structured gig bag round out the build.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Keeping a Detroit Tigers acoustic ready for couch strumming or a small gathering.
- Transporting a compact guitar to tailgates in the included Taylor structured gig bag.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players, because this is a right-handed model.
- Players looking for a cutaway; the specifications identify no cutaway.
