Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The New York Yankees edition is a right-handed Taylor GS Mini acoustic with an officially licensed white team graphic. Its compact Grand Symphony Mini body and 23.5-inch scale put the focus on easy chord formation in a format made for couch strumming, tailgates, campfires, and travel. The solid torrefied Sitka spruce top is described as articulate and dynamically broad; layered sapele back and sides are less susceptible to temperature and humidity changes. It has six strings, 20 frets, and no cutaway.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Home practice, couch strumming, and casual Yankees-themed playing between innings.
- Tailgates, campfires, and informal jams where a compact acoustic is practical.
- Players looking for the chord-forming feel described for a 23.5-inch scale.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; this instrument is right-handed.
- Players who require a cutaway body for their playing setup.
