The Korena take
Taylor’s Gold Label 717e uses a deep-body Grand Pacific design with a 5-inch soundhole depth, a torrefied Sitka spruce top, and East Indian rosewood back and sides. That combination is described as delivering expanded low-end resonance, projection, warmth, clarity, and layered overtones. Fanned V-Class bracing with tonal routing supports sustain, intonation, and dynamic range. For amplified work, the LR Baggs Element VTC system provides discreet onboard volume and tone control at the soundhole.

Consider the trade-offs
