Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Gold Label 517e gives Taylor’s Grand Pacific format a body that is 3/8 inch deeper, paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Fanned V-Class bracing with a tonal rout and the long-tenon Action Control neck are central to its construction. For amplified work, the LR Baggs Element VTC system provides soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. Cream binding, a Firestripe pickguard, and crest inlays add visual detail, while a Taylor deluxe hardshell case supports transport.
