Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Made as a 10-inch tom batter head, the Slingerland Ambassador Coated uses a single 10mil Mylar ply with a smooth white coating. It is described with crisp attack, warm sustain and brush sensitivity, making it suited to tuning choices in the studio as well as dynamic live work. A crimped flesh hoop is designed for reliable seating, and the vintage-style Slingerland script logo gives the head its traditional visual identity.
