02Can I use brushes on this?

03Coated or clear for toms?
Coated is warmer with softer attack. Clear is brighter with more attack and sustain. Coated also allows brushes.
04Do I need to replace the bottom head too?
Not necessarily. Resonant heads last much longer since they are not struck. Replace them when dented or when tuning gets unstable.
