Strong match

Who this is for

  • Trem-bridge guitars where standard humbucker poles miss the outer E strings
  • Bridge-only upgrades where the neck pickup already does its job
  • HH or HSH superstrats built around wider bridge string spacing

Consider the trade-offs

When to look elsewhere

  • Fixed-bridge guitars with narrow string spacing
  • Neck position — this is the bridge model only
  • Anyone unwilling to solder or pay for installation

What matters in use

The specifications, translated

Catalog numbers tell only part of the story. These are the details most likely to change how this product feels, sounds, or fits into a setup.

Detail 01

Trembucker pole spacing

Poles are set wider than a standard humbucker so they sit under the strings on a tremolo bridge.

Detail 02

Bridge humbucker

Goes in the bridge route. Nothing about it is set up for the neck slot.

Detail 03

Two coils

Hum cancelling, so it stays quiet under stage lighting and near computer screens.

Detail 04

Standard humbucker footprint

Fits an existing humbucker route and ring. Only the pole spacing differs from a normal humbucker.

Detail 05

Sold singly

One pickup, not a matched pair. Pairing it with a neck pickup is a separate decision and cost.

Final check

Know before you order

  1. 01Measure the outer string spacing at the bridge before choosing wide over standard
  2. 02One pickup only — your neck pickup stays where it is
  3. 03Plan on soldering, or budget roughly an hour of tech labor

Product questions

Before you decide

Straight answers to the questions shoppers most often ask about this product.

01How do I know if I need Trembucker spacing?

Look down at your current bridge pickup. If the outer strings sit inside or off the edge of the pole pieces, wide spacing fixes it.

02Will it fit a standard humbucker route?

Yes. The body size and mounting are the same as any full-size humbucker. Only the pole spacing is wider.

03Can I use it in the neck position?

It will physically fit most neck routes, but it is built for the bridge and will sound heavy and unbalanced there.

04Do I need to change my pots or wiring?

No. It works with normal humbucker wiring and existing controls. Soldering to the switch and pots is the only work.
