Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The XS Lav USB-C Mobile Kit puts a clip-on lavalier microphone, Smartphone Clamp, and Manfrotto PIXI Mini Tripod into one mobile recording setup. Its 2 m cable gives the XS Lav room to reach from mic placement to the connected device, while the omnidirectional clip-on mic is positioned for dialogue work. Use the 180-degree clamp dial to move between vertical and horizontal framing, then set the PIXI ball head. Collapsible tripod legs also support handheld vlogging.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Recording interviews, presentations, podcasts, or voice-focused videos with the XS Lav USB-C microphone.
- Switching a phone between portrait and landscape framing during vlogging or mobile recording.
- Using the collapsible PIXI legs for handheld vlogging while adding stability to video.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Setups that require a microphone cable longer than the included 2 m (6.6 ft.) length.
